![]() ![]() ![]() Generally I find ground based AoEs are great, since you can lay them down and face the other direction to tag enemies with your staff. Make sure to tag the two additional mobs that spawn along with the boss. Also, the Destruction skill line passive allows you to damage nearby foes with a lightning staff heavy attack. This will help you if you have carpal tunnel, since there's no need to spam light attacks like with a bow. This allows you to put 1 second of damage on an enemy before moving to another. My preferred weapon is a lightning staff, because the heavy attack is channeled, and you don't have to aim it once it's locked on. ![]() So if you get 6k when the dolmen is finished, you should be aiming for 3k additional XP via kills. As a reference, the amount of XP you get from kills in Dolmens should be around 50% of the final XP upon Dolmen completion. If you have training gear, this will really help. Once you have the three wayshrines unlocked, join the zerg and tag as many foes as you can. One in the east, and one in the middle, a bit south There are three wayshrines you need to unlock - you can use your map to see which player in your group is at which location. This will unlock the nearest wayshrine to the player Go to Social -> Groups -> Current Group, select a player and travel to them.Once in Alik'r, open zone chat and type "lfdg" (Looking for Dolmen Group). If you aren't a member of a guild, or no one is in Alik'r, use this overland travel link to get there ASAP.Open your guild roster, find someone in Alik'r desert and travel to them.NOT reliable.Īs soon as your new character is created: However, they all require you to team up with someone you know, and face the danger of other stealing your kills. I'm aware that faster xp grinds are available. As a reference, in the last stretch from lvl 40-50, you should be gaining 1 level every 15 minutes with a 50% XP scroll. No worries about others stealing your kills like in most zombie grinding areas No need to have much of a build - can start from lvl 1 ![]() I have a new character that I am taking around to Dolmens and the Cultists appear when they are going to appear, whether it is because enough time as passed and I can trigger them when I walk up, or, the other dolmens in the zone have been taken down.I've been leveling new characters and Dolmens are pretty much the most efficient way to level up reliably, and without frustration. That being said, I did get into a Clockwise rotation in Alikir the other night, so perhaps the rotation can be influenced by the don't think that is the case. Auridon for instance, they are pretty much in a straight line North to South. And, in emptier times like the middle of the night, I have come up to Dolmens and had them trigger as I approach.įinally, if your going to try to rotate through the zone for the Dolmens, go Counter Clockwise, or as near to Counter Clockwise as you can. However, I have camped a character near a Dolmen and done some RW stuff and had the Dolmen come up after a period of time when no other players appeared to be around. So, perhaps there is a timer of sorts in case no Dolmens are triggered. So, I don't think there is a Dolmen Timer per say, at least to the extent it gets to work very often. In Glenumbra, I never tried to get to the North or South Dolmens, instead I would just camp at the Central one (which is near the Werefolf World Boss) and it would take about 5 minutes for that Dolmen to come up. But, this could be the lack of players in the zone, or the amount of time it takes someone to get to the wayshrines to get to the Dolmens. In places like Stormhaven or Greenshade which have dolmens far away from Wayshrines, the frequency does not appear to be anywhere as near as fast. Now, these are zones that have Dolmens close to Wayshrines. I have also noticed this in Deshaan and Auridon and Grahtwood. As we get to the next wayshrine, the next dolmen is already coming up. In zones like Alikir, we can take out one Dolmen, then sprint the wayshrine and go the next dolmen. I have done some Dolmen Rotations in quite a few zones. ![]()
